6th May, 2009: The annual Roboshow at UAlbany takes place, with participation from students and faculty from RPI.


18th April, 2009: The fourth workshop of our series was an exciting, all day event. You can see pictures and media from the event on the workshop webpage.


19th November, 2008: Thanks to those who participated in our third workshop. Possibly our most interesting workshop yet, we had a great conversation between computer sciences and academics from a range of different disciplines.


13th November, 2008: CPATH PI meeting in Washington D.C. A chance to meet others funded under the same program, and exchange ideas about reforming the current CS curriculum.


15th August, 2008: The consortium will have access to 4 NSF funded Chiara platforms for the upcoming 2008/2009 academic year.


20th May, 2008: Thanks to all those who participated in our second workshop. We have a greater sense of the platforms available to us as researchers and educators.


20th March, 2008: Our first workshop was a great success. Look forward to the announcement of our second workshop, at RPI.


1st August, 2007: The National Science Foundation has funded our CPATH Community Building Project in Social Robotics. This is a two year effort to build a community in the Capital Region of upstate New York, centred on Social Robotics. We are funded to host 4 workshops in a two year period, to bring together educators, researchers, potential employers and government officials, to design a region-wide program in Computer Science and Engineering, based on a platform of Social Robots.
